I came to this page to read up on resident evil 4 and its plot...not a huge page about just the game itself and nothing to do with whats IN the game. This page is stupid, nothing about the game itself at all.

No, this game did not "rape the canon" as you so delicately put it. Resident Evil 4 was a chance for CAPCOM to take the series in a different direction in order to reflect Leon's growth as a character in both skill and knowledge. Playstation 2??

I don't think any resident evil games debuted on PS2. RE0 & RE4 on Gamecube were the first main series games since RE3 on PS1.
